Current status of the old family PC (a Gateway POS):

 

I've managed to Hackintosh it quite easily, but it needs more RAM and has a really shitty integrated graphics card so it's not worth the money or effort when my older Power Mac is already faster.  It did however yield a nice dual-usb header that I can add to the front of the Power Mac
